National Tournaments

An opportunity to travel to Cooperstown, New York which is famously known for Major League Baseball’s Hall of Fame Museum.  This annual tournament host teams from around the nation to participate amongst the best travel ball teams around.  It’s a unique experience that takes months of planning to participate in, but worth every minute.  Athletes and coaches will room and board in barracks, while supporting families will stay in local hotels. There are 2 separate tournaments that occur throughout each summer in Cooperstown. The Academy will work on targeting the “All Star Village” tournament.  An opportunity to travel to Omaha, Nebraska during the month of the College World Series tournament.  Not only will your athletes participate in the tournament amongst other travel ball teams from around the county, but they’ll also have the unique experience of watching the college teams battle their way to the College World Series. Last summer coach Ray Nylen took a team out to this tournament. They had the time of their lives, played some great baseball and got to watch the top NCAA teams compete for the crown…see the pictures below and please don’t hesitate to ask coach about it next time you see him. (Each team will be responsible for fundraising for 100% of the trip.)

This tournament is closer to home, but a tournament every young baseball athlete should get the chance to experience.  This tournament is held mid-March, and what makes this experience so unique is the fact it’s during Major League Baseball’s Spring Training.  The entire Cactus League participates during our time there.  Professional ball players will be hanging around and fully interactive with the younger kids, conversating, taking pictures, and signing autographs.  There is also a lot of night life activities available for all ages.
